Petunjuk bagi yang bermujahadah di jalan Allah

Allah SWT said: “Those who strive for Our sake, We shall certainly guide them unto our path.”*

(Surah al-Ankabut ayat 69)

*This is a Meccan verse, and it is well known that the physical Jihad against the disbelievers was legislated in Medina al-Munawwarah. This proves that the intent behind Jihad here in this verse is the jihad against the ego. The Allama and scholar of Qur’anic exegesis, Ibn Juzayy al-Kalbi said in his commentary on this verse: “This refers to Jihad against the ego.” The Allama and scholar of Qur’anic exegesis, al-Qurtubi said in his commentary: “Al-Suddi and others said: ‘This verse was revealed before the obligation of fighting was prescribed.’”

[Shaykh ‘Abdul Qadir ‘Isa, ‘Realities of Sufism’, translated by Suraqah Abdul Aziz, Sunni Publications, The Netherlands, Europe, 2009. ISBN 978-90-79294-11-4. Pg 83]

Terjemahan bebas:

Ganjaran amalan dakwah

Mu'adh Ibn Jabal Radhiallahu anhu related that the Massenger of Allah Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said: "No one calls to guidance except that he will win his reward as well as the reward (for the deeds) of those guided by him without that reducing in the least the reward they (who were guided by him) themselves receive.
[Sunan al-Darami 1:513]
